Our goal for the 3-year-old program is to assist children
to develop a positive self-image and awareness of the needs of others around

individuality, as well as aware of self in relation to others and caring about
others.

talking and listening.
Communication.

4. Literacy skills – written and
spoken language.
5. Intellectual skills – problem
solving, seeing cause and effect.

consequences of decisions.
7. Organisational skills – thinking
logically.

·
The teacher and assistant for our 3-year-old program have many years of
invaluable experience and knowledge in teaching and nurturing young children.
·
We recognize the need to keep class sizes below average, and take no
more than 21 children per 3-year-old session.
· There is also an opportunity to participate in a parent/teacher
interview near the end of term 2.
· 3-year-old groups usually have two incursions a year, plus a Teddy
Bear picnic week.
