Welcome all students and families to Rolling Hills Pre-School 2010

Rolling Hills Pre-school is the perfect place for your child to begin their journey to success educationally, physically, socially and emotionally.

Rolling Hills Pre-school offers a wide variety of learning experiences for children three to school age. We offer three programs, 3-year-old, Rising 4’s (dependant upon numbers) and 4-year-old kinder. Rolling Hills Pre-school prides itself on listening to the needs of the community as a whole as well the individual. Children are unique and treasured and we treat them as such.

The large outdoor play area is especially designed for young, energetic and exploring minds. Set on grass covered, gentle slopes, just perfect for those children that love to run, skip, roll hoops, and play ball. A massive sandpit occupies the top of one of the slopes with enough room and tools to accommodate all that wish to play. A delightful mini amphitheatre sits in the centre of the outdoor play area, surrounded by newly planted shrubs. It is an ideal location for the children to have their snack on beautiful days and to play many different games. Both sandpit and amphitheatre are covered with shade-sails. A two-story fort has been installed in the tanbark area, with a variety of moveable outside play equipment to satisfy and stimulate three to six year olds. And the newest addition is a brand new cubby house with easy wheelchair access and large enough for many to play in. (Everything is to current Australian Safety Standards)

Inside the freshly painted kinder, children are assigned their own pegs in foyer (for bag) and bathroom (for hand towel) for the year. They are encouraged to paint, draw, paste, build with a myriad of blocks, mould clay and dough, and role-play in the shop/restaurant/post office or hairdressers corner. They are encouraged to sit on the mat and participate in songs and listen to stories. Each term they focus on new things with games and activities being planned accordingly.
